Our fabulous client had her own vision for her new home in Puente Romano.
Our job was to create it, delivering to a tight timescale, bringing a high quality finish and to a definite budget. Over our many projects, we have developed good relationships with a wide variety of dependable suppliers which is a vital ingredient for a smooth project.
We took the building back to its original base, leaving only the perimeter walls. We rebuilt secondary perimeter walls in brick: insulating the exterior and ceilings, reducing heat from the outside and noise from the above apartment.
We installed new floors with underfloor heating, ceilings with a perimeter and detailed led lighting.
Working around the pillars, we managed to gain symmetry in the design. As the client loves to entertain, it was important to create a large kitchen and salon area connecting easily to the terrace, bringing the garden views into the space. We made new, wooden, bi folding doors.
We choose Italian, large format 1.20 x 1.20 floor tiles, from Cerafino, building the hallway to the same width, creating a feeling of instant luxury, space and crispness.
Bulthaup, installed a magnificent brushed gold, kitchen wall and base units with chestnut wood accents and a practical long stainless steel work bench.
We introduced a variety of tinted glass, including textured wall papers and an amazing mural of Manet’s Olympia, who adorns the open plan kitchen and salon. Wardrobes and doors were made by Rimadesio.
